An art and printmaking blog exploring my attempts at color woodblock printmaking using traditional Japanese moku hanga methods. But there are also occasional ramblings about life, art, winemaking and pizza ovens.
I am an ex-Emergency Physician who fled to become an urban farmer just outside Florence, Italy with my Italian wife and two children. We divide our time and energies between Italy and Santa Cruz, California. I am also a part-time artist working in watercolor, woodcut relief printmaking and stonecarving.
